It last decade (96-2000) that MSU was the winningest team from the West during that time period. In a 2 year period OM could never say such a thing & neither could Ark, much less a 5 year spand
Incorrect my retarded friend. From 1998-2003 (a 5 season span) The west teams had the following winning %
Arkansas 64%
Miss 63%
LSU 62%
Auburn 56%
Alabama 55%
MSU 47%
Retard, give me a little and I'll see if OM has ever done so.

Props to the Hogs! You got you a 5 year run to
Ranked at 25th in the country. Damn the SEC wasn't as strong then. Just as it wasn't when we were up there.

It appears that since 1992 Ole Miss has in fact not had a 5 year span of leading the West in winning %.
But since Klong also brought up polls I thought I would mention that Arkansas has finished the season ranked in the top25 29 times, OM 24 times, MSU ? 14 times.
That's no fair though, let's look at conference titles instead. Oh its Arkansas 13, OM 6, and MSU oh they have 1. Oh oops MSU is the only of the three without a national championship to.
But there has to, I mean HAS to be something MSU wins at right? I know let's check players put in the NFL.
Arkansas 273
Ole Miss 165
MSU - 118
Damn brah, yall lost that one to.
I know, let's play a game of tiddly winks.

Yeah we will lose everyday of the week, going back to the 40's, 50's and 60's. Sorry if you thought you brought something new to my attention. That's OM's territory and your territory was racking up W's (i guess) in the old SW conference or whatever it was called. Props!

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realize history didn't matter to you. I know let's just consider winning % since expansion in 1992?
Arkansas 55.7%
Ole Miss 53.3%
MSU 46.2%
So, to recap. You have a single 5 year span to point at and say "we were good" yet here you are talking shite?

We had a guy named Croom that helped bury those stats into the ground.

You sure about that ? Going back to Darrel Royal who was the coach in '54 and '55 yall have had ten coaches, only 3 of those coaches had winning records. Royal topped the percentage at 60.00%. FWIW little Mullen is at 56.00% . Croom did suck I'll give you that, but he wasn't even the worst of your last ten coaches. That honor goes to Charley Shira who won a whopping 27% of his games from 1967 to 1972.
