Kid is pretty good, a lot of Vol fans in Middle Tennessee wanted us to pursue him harder after watching him play.

When's the last time UT lost back to back 4*s to the MS schools?

Wow, we're losing quite a few in state guys this year...to Vandy and Ole Miss, nonetheless.

Maybe he wasn't high on UT's list so what would it matter.

Tennessee is getting railed instate.

Wow Tennessee is getting worked instate. Only 1 commit out of the top 20 and only 3 of the top 20 left uncommitted. That's pretty crazy to see.

So you are saying he was high on their list?

I'm saying he likely was considering they lost out on the Vandy RB who's name escapes me.

Perhaps you are right. I don't follow UT recruiting at all or the lack thereof.
Dooley probably has a plan.

It's a process...or so I hear.

I don't know. We normally don't get too many TN kids, especially at skill positions. We never have. We only have 22 scholarship kids from TN and none of them are starting at a skill position.
This commitment comes as no surprise, anyway. He really had no interest in us when we offered last year and we really haven't pursued him hard since about December. I don't believe he's ever been on campus. His coach is very anti-TN like a lot of coaches in middle and west TN.

hopefully for UT. Getting worked in-state in one of the few up years it has is never good.

It's true. They do seem to recruit Georgia for skill positions better than their own state.

Tennessee has 1 committ from the top 10 players in state. Vandy has 4.

Dooley is killing it. It'll take you guys 10 yrs to recover from all these crappy hires.
