Jack Gohlke didn’t even have a recruiting profile on a major site coming out of high school.

He played Kentucky's defense. We gave up lots of high scoring players this year. With that said, that 30 year old was on fire last night.

I hope their run continues, but most of the time when this happens, they lose badly the next game. We will see.

recruiting sites didn't exist when he was in high school - the internet had just finished Kindergarten -

In the last 25 years in both the NBA and NCAA, there have been two instances of a player coming off the bench and attempting 20+ three-pointers during a game without attempting one single two-pointer.

Both were by Jack Gohlke this year — February 8 at NKU, last night versus UK.

They misprinted his name.

That’s Tom Hanks from “Big”

I’ll say one thing. It’s not like he was getting a ton of open looks. He made several TOUGH 3’s with Wildcat defenders right there. He will never shoot like that again.

The fact that he was falling down for a huge number of those attempts was both amazing and hilarious.

Oakland Star Guard Jack Gohlke was a 0-Star Recruit with no Division 1 Offers Coming out of High School...
He played at Division 2 Hillsdale College for 5 seasons, doing Uber & Doordash on the side. He entered the Transfer Portal before this season, but received only one D1 offer - Oakland ??
He took the offer, and in his first season at the D1 Level, led Oakland to a Horizon League Championship & NCAA Tournament...
And today vs Kentucky, he hit 10 3-Pointers en route to a MASSIVE upset. The record for most made 3's in a Tournament Game is 11, he was just one short ??
Gohlke is officially cemented as a March Madness LEGEND after this performance
