I would say that recruiting ranking contribute greatly to on the field success, but what I (hope) he meant is that they are one of a number of factors that lead to on the field success. For example, Nix might be the highest rated QB in the SEC this year out of high school, but I don't think anyone reasonably could expect him to the best QB in the SEC this year because experience is another factor.

I think it probably has something to do with 16 frustrating interceptions last season, a bunch of those in the redzone.
They'll get over it quickly if he comes out and wins this season.

I understand the point of the this exercise. But if it turns out a list that ranks Tennessee's o-line the 3rd best in the conference, it's probably best not to publish it.

We're ALL wasting time because in the grand scheme of things, college football means absolutely nothing. It's about ENTERTAINMENT.
I've never understood why so many people are constantly looking for meaning when it comes to athletics.
