The GameCocks have only beat the Gators 8 times. Not sure where you get 4 out of 5 times.

Remember when you guaranteed SC would make a HR hire?
That was fun
No, I don't, and neither do you. You imagined that shite in your fricked-up head numb nuts.
Herman played us, no doubt, but I never guarantee anything, I'm too old to do anything even remotely close to that.
I'm also old enough to know that everything usually always works out for the best.
I'm also old enough to know that when everybody is betting on the same horse .... go the other way and bet on another one if you really want to win.
The more everyone keeps saying Boom would be a horrible hire - the more my gut instinct tells me Boom might be a great hire. frick it - life is too short. I just go to games to get drunk and have a good time anymore anyways. I can't remember any particular game since about 2006. I've attended most of them but my short term memory allows me to forget stuff from one day to the next most of the time.
But I am glad to know we're living rent free in your head Hayzuess. It gives me a certain amount of pleasure knowing you mizzourites are that small when it comes to being our little brothers.
And eat deez nuts ... unless you can show me where I guaranteed a homerun hire.

Most often used phrases by Boom. A tutorial for USC fans.
It's a line of scrimmage league.
Gotta win in the trenches.
gaps...integrity...midline
we're gonna get it fixed
scheme, many variants and uses of this word
chains, behind, ahead of
explosive plays
He likes to throw out a lot of film room and 'coaching manual' terms, talking about leveraging formations, loops, responsibilities, various gaps, techniques, etc - I'm pretty sure 90% of the audience has no idea what he's saying. I don't, when he randomly spits it out.
You can tell what he really wants to do is hold a presser with a video screen and a clicker and just talk football. It's indicative of a major flaw for him: he's very pigeon-holed in his mindset and doesn't step back to say, "I need to communicate to this specific audience at this specific time." It speaks to his stubbornness. It also highlights just how much technical knowledge he has. But some of that is good. He's not looking to cheat or embarrass your school, and he stubbornly adheres to that. I consider that a good thing.
Another problem: I think he knows the technical details so well that he can diagnose what's going on, knows what counters what etc. But he struggles making adjustments given the tools at hand on the roster to simply get things done. So, tactical prowess is lacking. You can't just say A is countered by B and C is countered by D. You have to come up with a tactic that allows you establish B and D. He would tell you 'it's not that simple' but to a tactician it is. For a technician it's difficult.
Strategically he suffers because he tries to marry up technique, tactics, and strategy, allowing the former two to partially drive the latter - rather than having tactics and technique derive from strategic goals. Just my opinion. His recruiting approach reflects this in that he can skip the big picture and go straight for the little pieces. That's why UF did not have a complete Oline heading into this season. He accepted too much risk in recruiting too few linemen. A couple had injuries and poof - there aren't 5 true Olinemen on the roster all of a sudden.
He's a pretty stand-up guy. For the most part he would come out and say he failed when things went poorly. That gets lost in all his technical babble though.
You can understand 99% of what Nick Saban says at a presser. You can understand about 50% of what Muschamp says.

Even if we lose Pruitt, please let Muschamp go to USCe. I would rather have an unknown DC and not have to see Muschimp acting like a rabid chimpanzee and antagonizing officials.
After the Iron Bowl, Auburn fans should pray for Muschamp to leave.

The big question..........has Muschamp been spotted house hunting around there yet? (that is always a tell)
