IMO, we should wait 18-24 months and then make that judgment.

That’s cool, one coach will be wanting to retire within the next 5 years after he realizes the SEC ain’t like playing Stanford and Navy every year, while the other is just hitting his prime.

That's not Brian Kelly.

And now you double down on your ignorance.

And here come the angry downvotes.

So is keeping Mullen's staff bad because they were unsuccessful or good because they have SEC experience?

That’s the big question. Or the point I’m trying to make really in that long arse novel. Is it better to have a staff full of guys with “SEC experience”, despite that experience being what some would deem a failure; or a staff full of Sun-Belt g5 guys who had a pretty good amount of success in a lower tier level of competition…? I mean everyone will have different answers and opinions about what they would rather and what is a better staff…
But either way, just the fact that a question like that can be asked or brought up, should be enough “proof” that an A+ grade is biased and/or unwarranted.
Imo, if/when I’m grading something, for me to give that “+” after an “A” grade, means to me that every reason presented is unquestionable and there is nothing that can be brought up that could create doubt.

Hitting his prime, at ULL? Seriously, he is a good coach, but you may be over estimating his abilities at this point.

One is the only ND coach in history to coach there for a decade and not win a NC (also like 0-5/6 in big bowls) while the other learned from the best and then went out and won his Conf Championship within 4 seasons. Could’ve been 3 but Covid.

Kelly is a solid HC but e hasn’t won anything to brag about as far as trying to say he’s superior to Napier who made ULL a power n had top teams after his players he developed during his time there

He's wrong anyhow. Brian Kelly is not the winninest coach in ND history.

Rockne 105 wins
Holtz 100
Ara 95
Kelly 92
Leahy 87
Devine 47

Sun Belt says they were champs in both 20 and 21. The title game was canceled in 20 because of Covid.

Lol it’s a projection, UF is his first big time job but with his recruiting prowess and the staff he’s assembled , all signs thus far point to him being successful. Still has to coach a game in the Swamp but we’re excited for the future. Kelly’s 60 years old, y’all really think he’s coaching for over 5 years?

This is the stupidest post I’ve read on this site in a long time…
Kelly has 113 wins…

He still has more wins than Rockne even with the NCAA voiding 21 of his wins… without the NCAA voiding those, he would have had 134 W’s…

Idk about where you come from, or how you were taught; but what I know and was taught is that 113>105

Kelly has 92 wins. Not sure where you got 113 from but calm down.

Lmao, you really mad about that 4 ranking huh?

I could careless about that ranking. I’m enjoying laughing at how delusional and stupid UF fans are, and how y’all keep doubling down on the dumbass things y’all are saying. It’s comical.

Tell me why a ranking of HC hires would/could make me mad… It doesn’t matter who LSU hired bc we’ll still send the Gaytors home with an L. Going on 3 years now since yall have beat us. Y’all couldn’t even beat us when you were ranked 6th in the nation and 1 in sec East... But we should be scared of Napier bc he has a couple Sunbelt rings? Lmao.
Honestly I think it was very considerate and generous of 247 to rank y’all ahead of us. It just might be the only “victory” UF gets over LSU this year... Basketball got an L, and come March 25 Lsu will get the hat trick when we beat y’all on the diamond too… rough year for you guys; so enjoy this little bit of positivity while it lasts.

Exactly. Napier is completely unknown. A+ is ridiculous, maybe a B+ at best
