I thought LSU would jump all over Napier ahead of Florida. I think he was the better long-term hire, even though I agree that Brian Kelly was an "A" hire.

These kind of grading hires/staffs stories by media outlets always have a way of being completely and totally backwards. I congratulate New Mexico State and UMASS on their upcoming playoff appearances.

Napier has now hired 47 coaches/analyst. Has built an army. Going to scoop Harold Perkins as well from your own back yard.

Paper pushers will never see the fine detail such as:

LSU upgraded, UF downgraded with the Raymond swap

DBU has been DBpoo lately. Safety play has been deplorable, even with blue chippers across the board. They haven't developed.

Pretty pathetic when youre using moves made by the previous coach who was fired for gross incompetence

That coach went 15-0 and had the greatest season in NCAA history two years after demoting Juluke. Nothing Juluke did after LSU changes the facts I stated in my post.

Steeples was a HS Coach before he was an assistant ST coach for the Vikings for one year.. How in the hell is this better than Corey fkn Raymond who is considered one of the best in CFB??

Lol the level of delusion in this statement. Y’all hired an assistant special teams coach as your cornerbacks coach. Keep spinning that though

Yeah, it’s not like their entire board wasn’t melting when the Raymond hire was announced. Like I said, let them spin that.

What do you mean, they hired Mike Denbrock as their offensive coordinator

Giving Napier an A+ is crazy… his off field staff is pretty much just a bunch of dudes that came from ULL with him. And for the spots that he didn’t fill with g5 coaches like S&C or “nutrition” or whatever, he just kept the same guys that were already there at UF. And we all know how successful they were…. So how is this new off field staff an improvement from Mullen’s staff? He could’ve/should’ve just kept everyone from Mullen’s staff since they had SEC experience. Going from P5/Sec guys to G5 guys is considered as an A+ improvement? I guess the made up roles, like “game changer coordinator” or whatever is what makes it an A+, idk? Also I apologize, I’ve been saying G5 “guys” the whole time, but it’s not all dudes, a few of his hires were female…

And looking at his on-field staff, one of his key hires came from a team that everyone on here has been bashing and making fun of for the last 2 years. Orgeron was a shrimp boat captain, incompetent coach incapable of running a program, yet when Florida hires away one of the most integral coaches from that “incompetent” guys staff, it is somehow seen as A+ quality hire???
So either this grading shite is arse backwards, or UF fans are becoming more delusional than tOSU fans…

Steve was listed as the OC while Joe was the passing game coordinator. But they said he also helped call plays

Sounds like Co OCs to me

Correct Steve was the OC and called the offensive plays.

correct Joe would give play calls to Steve and steve would decide to call the play or not.

And I take it since Joe went to the NFL as an OC and Steve didn’t that most of the time they ran the plays he “suggested”

Again, Co OCs
