I’ve played the Seaside course a lot (lived in SSI and worked with Jack Lumpkin for a while). It doesn’t play that easy; the wind must have been nonexistent.

Top teams have already teed off. OU first golfer birdied hole 1 so tied at -15 but its so early and holes are usually harder day 2. Every year there are lots of teams moving way up or down day 2.

Without question… the wind will will play a big role in shaping the field at this particular venue.
