2015 had a much better defense barring some improvements as the season goes. The problem with judging 2026's defense is the sample size - 2 highly competitive games against two offensive wunderkinds (Brohm and LK/CW).
2024 has to be the biggest kick in the nuts. Ole Miss had a Top 5 defense and Top 5 offense. If they didn't lose Judkins to Ohio State and Kiffin doesn't shite the bed vs Kentucky, they likely win the natty.
