We have crapped the bed multiple times. Thought we were on that path again after DNF’ing in the 4x100 and Jelani Watkins sucking it up. Some how they found a way to win.

The previous coach, Bucknam, had some runner up finishes, but couldn't duplicate Coach Mac's success. It's like following Wooden or Bryant.
And Florida had a strong run. Georgia is coming up now. Tennessee is usually there. The competition is unbelievable.

Technically we won in 2004 and 2005 as well but they were vacated due to the recruitment of Tyson Gay. We’ve routinely shite the bed outdoors since then under Bucknam. Case seems to be on a tear right now though so hopefully he can get us back to elite level in outdoors.

Well you are going to have to explain what you mean by odd, but maybe someone who ran track can answer that. A track meet is a long event and a logistical nightmare. If you listen to the twin pole vaulters interview, they spoke of how they have to manage their energy because their event took 3 hours.
