Also, glad there are some folks here who follow and talk about the championship. I’ve followed it the past several years, but no big 12 forum exists like this to chat about it with others.
Welcome to Hell

amazing they all fell apart together!
Amazing that this happens frequently in college golf. Teams get hot or cold together, even with players on different holes.
Golf is so psycho.
The best thing about this format is that eventually class shows through & the best rise to the top. The champ is definitely deserving

Yes, the winner earns it. The final day is so tense too, having to usually rely on some good luck and overcome nerves if its tied 2-2 and 5th pair is all even.

Going into day 3:
Solid: OU, AU, UF, Texas, Ole Miss
Bubble watch: Vandy, Aggie
Needs a great day and probably some help: SCAR, UGA, TENN

Welcome. I enjoy golf, and BDG has his hands full with baseball and softball.

Day 3 times are up. Today's pairings are straight from the day 2 ranks.
Arizona State/OU/AU will go off first, followed by FSU/UF/Texas

I just read that BYU played their “3rd” round on Thursday because they don’t play on sundays. Funky. I can’t seem to find that score anywhere, but after today’s bad round it may not matter.
They haven’t posted it yet. Wonder if they’ll post it after everyone else has wrapped up their day of if they’ll do it as soon as we get going.

Lacosta North is a very tough tract …. brutal.
It doesn’t surprise me that Arizona State is playing well and comfortable with the course….since the turf is very much like their home course (Papago)
One of the things I like about Oklahoma State is their commitment to their practice facility, Karsten Creek. As I recall it had 6 different types of turf, replication many seen in the original B10. Pretty cool, … I could’ve hung out all day just on the practice area. The course itself is one of the finest anywhere in collegiate golf … surprisingly hilly.

They posted BYU’s round three score from Thursday and it was one over, well below the cut line. They’ll need four squads ahead of them to have a very bad day to make it now.

I could see BYU getting in. Quite a few teams above them averaging +5 or worse per day.

Continuing where we left off yesterday and are now only a stroke behind ASU.

ASU, OU, and AU have all been atop the leader board already this morning

Auburn off to a smoking hot start -5 on the first half of the front 9. Koivan is -3 after his first 4 holes!

Texas and Florida starting on the back 9 and putting up a lot of bogeys early.
Another slow start for UF, we need moar coffee!

I have a hunch Koivan may know a thing or two about golf.

AU all over the place. Birdies and bogeys everywhere lol. OU back in the lead.

OU up by a stroke but lots of golf yet to go.
Question. They cut to top 15 after today and I think they keep first 3 round scores for round 4 correct?
