Auburn has 0 with plenty of events to catch up. Keep the faith, Brother.

SEC likely to go 123 podium. I like that.
Sucked last night w the Men. When the 5K race went full retard and Kiprok went down in the trip pile, Arky lost at minimum 4 points which would've put the SEC 12356.

Have to say your girl Parker Valby is a doll. If I had a son instead of a daughter I'd be thrilled w her as a DIL.

Ok so if Arkansas get 3rd it’s co-champs. 1st or 2nd and Hogs are solo champs.

I know how Auburn felt yesterday with no team in the 4 x 400. Sucks.

Great meet. Florida showed out, again. SEC overall dominates.
6 Top 10 Men's
7 Top 10 Ladies

52nd Track National Title for Arkansas since 1984.
Not sure there’s another sports dynasty comparable. That probably sounds 100% homer, but really thinking about it…

Probably have a dozen 2nd place finishes in the past 25 years as well. Some scoff at T/F CX but it's a Big4. Damn hard to win much less maintain.

Congratulations Florida and hats off to our women for fulfilling their potential.
The sec has the best athletes in all sports.

quote:Hats off to those Arkansas women. They were incredible. Imagine how hard it is to have the best athlete in an event versus so many other schools. Arkansas had the top 4 athletes in one event. That is unheard of. You would think someone, somewhere on another team would challenge them. Mad props and a well deserved title. Dominant.
It seems silly you could win almost entirely because of one event but i don't really know how to change it.

That 4x400 relay team for Arkansas ladies ran the 6th fastest time ever... That includes Olympics, worlds, etc.
Obviously it's kind of cheating because they basically have the best college 400 runners from 3 different countries (US, Jamica, and Britain) but still... Just shows how absutely stacked that team was/is.
The Ark women have almost always fulfilled their potential in recent years. The men have floundered at national finals.

I remember a few years ago when we clinched a Natty in women's track in the final race of the meet. Everyone had gotten clustered up in the middle and were getting in each other's way, our young lady (a Senior I think) saw that and swung out wide. She turned on the jets and finished first.
Our women are clutch. Sadly, of late, our men are clutz.
