As a UK fan I am curious what Ming could do with top end talent. I would prefer that happen in Lexington not Austin.

Same as regionals.. Higher seed in the 1st game.. then it tries to equalize it as you get further into the tournament..

He's not wrong about pitching. We can ride Preager, Cortez, Asch, and Rudis for the large majority of 3 games. Maybe even 4. But once you ask to play 5 games in 6 days, we're so screwed.

I mean this is gonna be true of just about everybody though. But I hear ya.

That’s 21 NCState team was pretty damn good. No guarantee they would’ve won it but man I wish they would’ve had the chance

7 of 8 teams in the CWS are top 16 seeds

Also….7 of these teams were #1 seeds in their regional….except Florida.

In the off day, check the zoo out. If you want a drive and like military stuff, there's a museum outside of town - strategic air command. Can also wander across the river to Lewis and Clark park - great view, historical significance. Enjoy the time.

If you need a guide in Omaha, we Horn fans don’t have anything going on.

There are rumors that a team meeting was held tonight where the team was informed that Pierce will not be returning..

IMO, if this is true, CDC likely has his guy on the hook and there should be an announcement about his departure tomorrow.. following soon thereafter (maybe Friday) about the new coach..

My best guess is Bakich, but the silence is loud, so who knows.. but I don't expect it be a coach still playing if it goes down this way..

Damn that's almost as bad as Texas putting asterisks on their "Co-South Big12 Champions* in years past!
