College World Series appearances since 2010.

Texas A&M 2

And zero wins to show for it. Interestingly enough, that “2” represents the total number of wins aggy has at the CWS…

It’s almost like they try to rotate teams for the event. They select some good out of state programs, a historical power like Texas, two programs that have been fantastic over the last decade (TCU, Texas Tech) and then they drop a courtesy invite to a massive school that can’t win big at any major sport (Texas A&M).

Houston and Rice have the most appearances.
Long time owner of the Houston Astros was a Baylor grad, I think.

Most appearances:
Houston 18
Rice 17
Baylor 13
Texas Tech 11
Texas A&M 10
Texas 10
TCU 9
The flagship of Louisiana "Ragin' Cajuns" 4
Tennessee 4

LSU 4

several teams with 3 appearances or less

Imagine how butthurt Aggys are deep down that Texas is ranked #1 while they’re unranked

Aggy is not a top 5 program in the State of Texas…

Pathetic excuse of an establishment.

All-Time Aggie records Wins-Losses-Ties:

Be consistent. You toss out the all-time football records and claim the game wasn’t fair because you were a boys school. Now you want to include them? As if an all-time record indicates you’re a better program? Go look at the Texas-Alabama football series and make that same conclusion.

Facts:

TCU has been to 5 CWS since 2010, including 2 Super wins over aggy. TCU won more games in their first trip to Omaha than aggy has EVER won at the CWS. aggy thought so highly of these achievements that they hired the Frogs coach.

Texas Tech has been to over half of the CWS’s held over the last 8 years. Tech has twice as many wins in Omaha as aggy.

Rice has a natty, one that almost every aggy fan on here was alive for.

Poor little Rice has about 4,000 undergrads, and DBU checks in with less. And as of today, DBU is a better program than A&M, they’ve also managed to win in Fort Worth against TCU.

Baylor…won 2 games in the 05 CWS and came closer to a title in baseball than aggy has ever been.

I guess Texas, Oklahoma, and Baylor weren’t wanted either. It’s almost like they wanted new teams or something.

Pretty cool for us to be invited to play in this. Dan McDonnell has done an amazing job with our program.

Looking forward to this
