was pretty sure Eli was gonna unleash one in the dirt after that stoppage for ball - so none of it mattered -

Carolina is in that mode that let Arkansas' pitcher and UTk's pitcher send down double digit hitters in a row - this is gonna be ugly for awhile for USC.

This is what we have been waiting on from him all season. If he keeps it up thats huge for the postseason

Jones was on a pitch count today - he's done after 62 now and 12 outs most likely.

gonna get real interesting for Kingston now with who pitches next / beyond today -

Nah… to basically everything you claimed.

This was entering the year:

This is the mental side of the game where Hurd has struggled, dealing with adversity on the mound and minimizing damage when things don't go well

you did the homework - of course it's Florida - Carolina did until Kingstoned decided to go 8-22 a couple seasons ago. it was never Alabama or Mississippi St - just chose those two for the outrage

Nice recovery by Hurd..huge to close out the inning and limit the damage.

Nice job by Hurd so far.

Petry will always be a turd to pitchers.

Think Hurd may be done after that. He's lost ~4 mph on his fastball and hasn't had as good of command of any of his pitches. It's the most pitches he's thrown since throwing 85 in early March. I would think, at minimum, Jay has someone ready to go in the 6th and pulls Hurd if he allows a baserunner

surprised Jones is back out after MK's pregame radio interview - but by what Jobert just did he probably should've pulled Jones.

Hurd's at 80 - 45k/35b - 9-1-2 due up for USC T6

Proctor's had a few good moments of late but LSU's lineup is not ideal for his stuff - this could get ugly quick. breaking balls that tend to hang over the plate -

Yeah that was definitely a strike. WTF is this ump doing today? It was bad yesterday too.
