1. Alabama

14. Michigan

If sheer talent were to be the indicator of the eventual champion, it will be Texas vs Alabama.

by sheer talent you mean what some random guys working at recruiting websites say? Then yes.

Don’t the Aggies have a lot more to worry about them posting things like this? This means nothing may the best team win

Don’t tell Michigan. Their boards think they have more overall talent than Bama

There is a pretty strong correlation between recruiting success and on the field success and eventual NFL draft success.
It’s not rocket science to pick out a high school senior that’s good at football

Not worried about what I can’t control.

Some haven’t figured that out yet. Even though there are some teams that don’t live up to their potential relative to their recruiting success, like A&M, the past national champions have had amazing recruiting classes.
Case in point. TCU vs. Georgia. In 2022, Georgia was ranked #2 and TCU was ranked #32. It showed on the field.

Fans: “We bout to land a top 10 class! Y’all best to watch out.”
Same fans: “Cruitin rankings are dumb and rigged.”

Wonder if Washington will hang onto their coach. Could be a real contender in B10 if they can keep getting players like they have now.

Too bad A&M didn’t follow this trend

And everyone accuses everyone else of buying recruits.
Michigan fans are pissed that LSU supposedly paid $5 million for a quarterback recruit and everyone here tells me LSU is falling behind in NIL.

Talent composite ranking goes back to 2015. The worst team to win a national championship was 2016 Clemson at 9th. I'd say those random guys know their shite pretty well.
