Hopefully the schedules revert back to 12 games and we get to play previously scheduled opponents. UF will have 2 soft games to start season...which is helpful with new QB and we get Bama in the Swamp, UT, UK , ditto and the girls school also in the Swamp.

We will have several new defensive assistants and have a lot of talent on the roster and quite a few didnt play or didnt get many snaps this past year due to injuries or not being ready. Look for UF to run the ball more.

I think UGA will be the leader in the east until we play...but the dawgs play Clemson to open the season in Charlotte. Might be a tough nut to crack, even with Lawrence gone...that big frosh QB looked decent in the close loss to ND.

Lets pray we resume full stadiums. The spring practices look to be not feasible with current virus rampant.
I will be getting the Modera (sp) vaccine soon and there is talk that a third injection might be prudent as a booster shot....since no one knows how long the vaccine is effective right now. Hopefully this will lead to less contractions of Covid. 2020 was the most bizzare year ever and we need a reversal of fortune.

A&M and Florida ahead of LSU is a fricking joke. We return 20/22 starters plus have no where to go but up on defense.

The only game LSU will not be favored in next year will be at Bama. Even still that game will be interesting due to all the talent Bama has to replace.

Strongest OOC opponents in 2021 played by SEC teams based upon these very early rankings:

#2 Clemson- Georgia plays them on 9/4; S. Carolina on 11/25
#14 Miami- Alabama plays them on 9/4
#16 Texas- Arkansas plays them on 9/11
#20 Penn State- Auburn plays them on 9/18
#25 NC State- Miss St. plays them on 9/11

That is probably about right. ISU loses basically nobody, and has one of the best coaches out there. A&M has some growing pains, but a very solid foundation. UNC loses almost nobody - you saw their team in the Bowl game

As usual, the T5 are pretty much the same teams.

I could go on, but this list looks pretty good.

Yes, but your coach is Orgeron.

Alabama will be younger but crazy talented again. I think they win it all barring key injuries.

Yep, return 21/22 starters from the Orange Bowl team. Though that ignores the two huge losses at RB and we lose Dyami Brown at WR and Chazz Surratt at LB. Those were the opt outs. Our 2021 team hung in tough against A&M though and will be a year stronger + adding in a top 10ish recruiting class & transfer Ty Chandler.

Should be able to give Clemson a run next year. Doesn’t hurt that we’ll have the best QB in the country in his junior year either.

Oh that reminds me, Texas A&m lost their QB too, so they're going to be trash

It depends on if the QB you play against in the title game has broken ribs. You might have a good chance then.

Yeah, that's a big improvement for A&M.

Returning 20 starters from a 5-5 team is not a good thing

Bama too high. Doesn't mean they won't end up there, but I'd have a hard time putting them #1 after losing Jones, Smith, and Harris. Just too many unknowns.

You can't have growing pains, unless you are growing. That's why you wouldn't understand.

Also doesn't hurt that you play in the ACC which is not that good of a football conference.

SEC was 6-2 in bowl games
ACC was an embarrassing 0-6

Clemson and Notre Dame got blown out in their playoff games.

Well considering we finished very strong and got rid of the cancer that is Pelini, I beg to differ. LSU is going to be loaded and give a lot of teams fits.

I want Alabama ranked #1 when they come to Kyle Field. Alabama should be ranked pre-season #1 until somebody beats them. I want ESPN Game Day there as well. Especially Herbstreit and Pollack. I want 110,000 12th Man fans there. Kyle Field will be rocking. Night game!

Honestly, LSU would possibly be decent next year except for a couple of glaring issues. Primarily there is the problem of the ape on the sidelines. Secondarily, it will be interesting to see if they can actually find a DC willing to take the job before the start of the season
