Clemson's schedule is roughly equivalent to Cincinnati's.............and that includes them playing Georgia to start the season

Which is why all of the “Clemson to the SEC” rumor talk was hilarious. They’d be killing themselves to leave that cakewalk.

If they beat Georgia, you'll hear nothing but how they can't help who they play?

If they beat Georgia it'll all be moot because they'll be 13-0 going to the playoff (probably......).

But if they lose to Georgia? Woooo buddy.

If they lose to UGA they shouldn't even be considered for the playoffs. What a fricking joke.

Their only saving grace would be Miami or North Carolina going 11-1 or 10-2 and getting to beat them in the ACCCG.

Even then, what a thin case.

Speaking of tough schedules, I found this interesting. Top 15 hardest schedules over the past 10 years.

SEC West has 4 in the top 5; 5 in the top 10; and all 7 in the top 15.

- Neutral site vs toughest team in Wk1 (loss is irrelevant)
- Neutral site vs 2nd toughest (a 3-4 loss team)
- 3rd toughest = Auburn with a new coach

If Kirby doesn’t make the CFP with that setup…

He's gotta beat (probably) Alabama or LSU in Atlanta. Same as it ever was

If Aggie finds a way to win the West you will know that it is truly Georgia's year to break all curses

It's not looking good for the nerds again this year. Clemson, UNC, ND, and UGA. Ouch.

Nope - even with more modest improvement this season they're still gonna struggle to find 6 wins - Kennesaw, Northern Illinois, Duke.....and then you have to find 3 more out of BC, Pitt, UVA and VT.
