What was the differences between bama 2019 and bama 2020?

2020's defense was better and its offense was more efficient. Yeah, it didn't have Jeudy or Ruggs, but Najee Harris didn't start to come into his own until the end of the '19 season. He's probably the best overall RB of the Saban era and that 2020 season was his magnum opus.

The argument is moot anyway, because 2020 was a fake season, therefore Alabama’s championship was fake.

How? Can you please name a RB during Saban's time at Alabama who could block as good, run as hard, catch as well, and finesse their way away from opposing tacklers as good as Najee Harris could? Harris was the total package.

Jahmyr Gibbs is the best college RB at Alabama since Shaun Alexander

If such an accomplishment was so easy, then why did LSU lose as many games as they did?

Let's face it...if Orgeron and the Tigahs hadn't completely collapsed in 2020 and wound up repeating as national champions, there would be no one on this message board claiming it was an asterisk year. But because Alabama followed LSU's run in 2019 with an equally dominant run the very next year, you want to act like the season didn't count. This after every single one of you BEGGED the powers that be in the summer of 2020 not to cancel the college football season.

Damn straight

But it was a season of opt outs and no crowds. It’s about as bad as the 2 loss 2007 champion LSU. Still the best team in college, but a tainted resume
