Why do you think Oklahoma will consistently beat LSU?

Because we’ll almost always have a better offense and the best offensive mind in football. A rapidly improving defense which was good last year finally. We have better depth than people realize. We’re great in the trenches. We won’t beat you every game but all things being even you will have to improve on offense and you won’t have Riley as coach. It’s easy to think that we’ll be the same old team with the same problems.

If Riley is so great of a coach, how come he keeps losing to Kansas State and Iowa State?

That's ironic coming a program who has won one title in 36 years, with the last being more than two decades ago. Boy, you sure showed the OP.

People just don’t do their homework. Studying the evolution of a team and how they are fixing their weaknesses. Riley/Grinch will start getting more credit after this year.

Oklahoma has been down 28-0 and 35-7 in the 2nd quarter of consecutive semifinals against SEC teams

But, but they were up 31-17 on Georgia a few years ago. Never mind, they still lost.

Those were bad. Glad Rattler got More comfortable as a youngster and our team finished very strong. Evolution. Glad we have a an incredible back up QB that any other team would kill for.

He said it after the game. Urban Meyer has said the same. Stop being so stinking arrogant

It’s not even about being arrogant. I’ve just never seen someone take coach speak so seriously

We had one of the worst defenses in football. Imagine if we had last year’s defense. It’s well known that all we need is a good defense.

You've had two straight Heisman winners and a Heisman finalist and haven't won shite

You've lost two straight to Kansas State yet you think you can consistently beat LSU who recruits just as good or better than you every cycle.

You sound like a homer.

It has sucked because we’ve had such a poor defenses for years. I’ve said it many times that it’s been frustrating. I’m finally thrilled that we have good defensive coaches and seeing results.

You gave up 37 and 38 to Iowa State and Kansas State last year.

You won’t win championships without a good defense.

Yes, and you show me any team that didn’t give up points last year. With today’s offenses you won’t have many low scoring games anymore. OU’s defensive stats were still good. Why did Bama give up 46 points to Florida last year?! Also gave up 48 points to Ole Miss last year. Hmmm

Ole Miss and Florida were the #13th and #14th ranked scoring offenses last season.

Iowa State was #34 and Kansas State was #81.

Weird comparison.

Also, both Iowa State and Kansas State each beat the "mighty" Oklahoma yet lost to Sun Belt teams.

Top 5 NFL Tight end that runs 4.4 with hands softer than Texas's state fair cotton candy.

First round WR that can cut on a paper clip.

Now do KSU and Iowa ST....

What would it benefit Saban to say that after the game, or Urban Meyer to say that as a sports analyst?

Why is it so hard for you to be intellectually honest and say OU has a hard to prepare for offense? It makes SEC defenses even more impressive for stopping it.
