you know what matters a lot more than anything 2 seasons back? That would be qbs returning this year

Myles Brennan completed 60.3% last year
Max Johnson completed 58.7%

Bryce Young may not be any better but last season he came in with the rest of the 2nd and 3rd team players

This is fair. However, Bryce Young was a back-up. Johnson and Brennan were starters/saw significant game action.

I know, throwing less passes would tend to favor Young if we were comparing though.

not at all true, but coming in the game with the rest of the 2nd and 3rd team, including linemen, blocking backs, and receivers would certainly not favor him

Your 2nd team is more talented than a lot of SEC starters

so maybe LSU's qbs, that completed 60% of their passes with LSU's first unit, would be better qbs at Alabama, and Bryce Young will probably be a better qb with Alabama's first unit.

Reality is that LSU's qbs won't be at Alabama, so they're more likely to still be 60% completion type qbs, whereas Bryce Young will more likely improve playing with Alabama's first team.

OK.

There’s a reason they are second team. They aren’t ready.

there's a better reason they are 2nd team. They are playing at Alabama. At LSU they would more likely be 1st team.

Alabama also pulled their foot off the gas against ND. Could have put up 50 in that game if Saban and Sark wanted too...but their was no need.

2019 LSU seems to be a recurring theme around here.

And if you don't think that the "21-0" wasn't a recurring thing here the your full of shite.

You posting this at 11:24AM on July 9th, 2021 reeks of insecurity

2019 LSU was great and Joe Burrow was other worldly. Stop telling us about it

LSU fans hoping 2019 don't turn into 1980.

I mean sure they happy now but what happens when it's 41 years later and we're all posting 2019 threads?

You missed some of Joe’s TDs

Didn’t miss any of Mac’s

Have any Bama fans brought up our non conference schedule yet?
