LSU did LSU things...i swear they are touche by an angel. Take nothing away from the talent, but that team reminds me of SC's 2010 team. They never quit or give up, they battle.

Yeah they're definitely not our most talented team but they play above their ability. The win wasn't even the biggest story for LSU. It's the continual progression of Jake latz. He can't throw 6 innings but he may start the first game of the regional. He could be huge for us in the postseason.

Yup. If we have Latz all season we probably win 2-3 more sec games which would put us the next one in for super host

Only problem is you're not getting these top teams best pitching. Outside of USC how many teams are throwing their ace?

That is typical on Wednesday every year, so it is all relative. I still think it is the best Wednesday line-up ever in the tourney.

That is a nice match up. Puk isn't their ace, but I guess when you have UF's pitching then you can throw just about anyone and have a good match up.

He's projected the #1 overall pick so ace/1a whatever you label him i dont care. It's a bigtime matchup.
