Was Murray's leg gonna miraculously heal in a week?

Under your scenario, Nebraska didn't leave for the Big 10 and Colorado didn't leave for the PAC 12.

Todd Grantham was our DC. Murray's knee was inexistent.

Auburn still 2013 SEC Champs.

If no expansion, then no bridge schedules in 2012-2013. To determine who would have won the SEC title, you'd have to reconstruct each team's schedule.

To my dying breath I'll say Murray didn't cross the goal line on that last TD, but win or lose he played like a champion in that game.

I, for one, will never understand how Auburn guys saw no evidence of Murray scoring on that play; but are perfectly fine with glossing over a butt recovering a fumble two quarters prior.

However, having said that; there was no way that UGA would have been in the game with Auburn in Atl. After that Iron Bowl, there was no slowing down Auburn riding on that high. I just hate that Aaron Murray's entire UGA career was mired in the Grantham reign of defensive mediocrity.

There wasn't enough evidence either way (although I biasly think there was more evidence showing he didnt cross)

Had it been called no-TD, it would have stood as well IMO.

shite happens, its football. Auburn got the benefit of the doubt in a similar call in the 2010 season IIRC against arky, difference being there was no PIJH for the pigs.

My point exactly. They were both 50/50 calls that could have gone either way. Bias dictates how anyone would feel about how either one was called, but fans cannot be so sure about the more prominent one that did not go their way, all while neglecting the one that did. Its fandom at its most basic, I suppose.

Yes. I will still argue in other, less civil, moments that I was on the goal line and can say with 100% certainty that Murray did NOT cross
