Good grief, where are all these classy LSU fans coming from? Where have you guys been all year?
Now tuck, don't read too much into this. We'll go back to being classless in the next post.

Congrats Ingram. You weren't the best RB in the nation, but the crimson jersey put you over the top.

I find it funny how most of our rival fans that want to hate on Mark for not even being the best RB in the country.....only because of their hatred for Alabama.
If a LSU/Auburn/Arkansas back had the same type numbers and carried their respective teams the way Ingram did while McElroy had terrible games, all while going 13-0, winning the SEC championship and having one hell of a game against the nations #1 defense.....those same fanbases would be talking about the poor PAC-10 and how those defenses are geared to stop the pass and not grind-type rushing attacks.
Im not trying to take anything away from Gerhart because he is an awesome back and I love the way he runs, but Alabama's schedule was much tougher and Ingram put this team on his back and carried it while the passing game was poor.
If this year was all LSU and they were headed to the BSCNCG, undefeated and 13-0, with Charles Scott a Heisman finalist with identical (Ingram) numbers, how many of you LSU fans would have been talking about Gerhart, those 27 TDs, and how he is the best RB in the nation?

I would have at least. Can't say anything about the bulk of the Tiger fans. I wanted Suh to win it personally. Ingram is a hell of a guy it seems and a great athlete, hope he lets it go to his head so he's gone next year

Congrats to Mark Ingram. I was very impressed with his on and off field demeanor. He handled himself very well at the induction ceremony. The display of emotion was refreshing, IMO.
True Soph, 19 yrs old.....makes it even more impressive. Well done BAMA, Congratulations to the Ingrams.

+1. Seems to have a strong family network around him that has kept him in line.
