More than likely lose. But, they'd have a good shot with the way they came out in that game.
Saying 07 LSU was head and shoulders above 08 Utah is idiotic, IMHO(same would be said for Ohio State).

I want to know why everyone thinks utah is so great.
They beat bama but it was clear bama wasn't interested in that game.
bama was undefeated but they struggled with 4 loss ole miss and 5 loss LSU team that had nothing for a defense.
basically utah jumped on them and had a qb that didn't throw pick 6s so jpw was forced to make plays and he couldn't. All of a sudden bc utah can do this they become better than a national championship team

2008 Utah team could not beat 2007 LSU even if the Pope and the Dhali Lama blessed their magical, holy underwear. How many top 10 defenses did Utah see? Nuff said.

Bama was extremely overrated in 2008. They played the easiest of all SEC schedules and barely beat a mediocre LSU team because of INTs, then got blown out by Utah in the Sugar Bowl. Probably really should have ended ranked about 15 or 16

Anyone claiming the 2008 Utah team is better then the 2007 LSU team is a total moron. When healthy, the 2007 team was completely dominant.

OMG we almost lost at Bama! Yes we played like absolute shite, committed 15 or so penalties and almost lost in Ttown. Kinda like 2004 USC almost lost to Stanford, Oregon State, and UCLA.

I don't think any team that gives up 50 points to a lower level SEC team can be considered "dominant". Hell UT spanked that Arkansas team that year.

Ok. I'm never intended to give the impression that I thought '08 Utah would skullfrick '07 LSU. All I said was that they were a better team. If you disagree, I don't say you are stupid. It's not an outragous claim. I just disagree with you. But, to say that anyone who thinks '08 Utah was better is a moron in fact makes you a moron.
Just think about this. Who is better? '07 Bama or '08 Bama? I think everyone would say '08 Bama. LSU almost lost to '07 Bama and Utah handily beat '08 Bama. Is this such a bad comparison?
