It is all about frickung money idiots btw I think we have put enough bus money in the SECcoffers over he last decade so y'all can all geaux frick yourself. We will beat Clemson by 50 at halftime before miles pulls he 2team and finish with a top five team and preseason top three ranking . Once we get to 8 team playoff system w will see who real national champs are

LSU was not going to the Outback. They rarely take a West team.
The Cotton had a decision to make. They had 3 choices:
Take aTm.
Take LSU and then host them in the opener next year.
Offer to the Outback to "trade" their pick for USC.
It was actually a tough decision. LSU-OU is a 2003 NC rematch. aTm-OU is a Big 12 "rivalry." USC and OU have never played.
A lot of people will see aTm-OU and not really care because this is a matchup that you could have watched for two decades.
I'm sure aTm fans are for this because OU has beaten them 11 of the past 13 times.
This should be a good game.

Come on dude, you are better than this. At least take the time to respond to an entire post so we can have a legitimate conversation.
If you're one of the few worthy of a legitimate response, I apologize.
I don't recognize your handle.
I actually prefer Atlanta as a venue, over Dallas, any day. It's just frustration over the realization that LSU is not on equal ground in the SEC.
I took the election hard, too. Patriotic to the core. I've had much loyalty to our conference. Always made me proud to hear the SEC chants, and have spent countless hours defending our conference against posters from outside the SEC.
But, this feels much more like something with staying power, rather than a knee jerk. The scheduling issues with common opponents, the cross divisional games during the transition of this year and next, and now Slive steps in for Georgia, but leaves LSU hanging in the wind, again.
It's definitely not just the bowl game or opponent for me, it's the betrayal. There is no semblance of equality here. Not whining about it, I probably do take my LSU football too serious. I invest a lot of time and money following it, and all I need is to feel like we had a fair shake to win.

UGA goes toe to toe for 4 quarters against a team many people thought could stand up against an NFL team earlier in the year, and is 5 yds away from a win.
You listenin to the media hyping the game. I told people before they played LSU that Bama was not that good. I still say that and I picked you buttholes to win because Bama's pass defense against a real offense is mediocre.
I had a reason for saying what I said before the LSU game. Bama's season stats for numerous offense and defense categories were only marginally better than LSU's but the perception was that Bama was NFL ready and LSU was falling off the cliff. This stat revelation was after Bama had not played anybody stronger than Miss State and LSU had run the gauntlet of UF, USCe, and aTm... Bama aint no where near as good as they were last year. This year they survived with team discipline, a golden horseshoe up their arse, and a few dead chickens...

I like to think that I am. But with under 1000 post to my name, I can see how you would be wary. For future reference, I am very level headed and far from a troll.

Now this is a conversation I can get behind. Thank you.
I agree with everything you said and I sympathize completely with your plight. We all like to think that Slive and the corporate fat cats in Birmingham have it out for our teams, but as stated above; it is all about what gets the pockets lined the quickest. If they feel that LSU would travel well to a certain city better than UGA, they would make that happen as quick as they could. The SEC office does not like it when UGA plays a bowl in Atlanta; they get no travel benefits from it. LSU on the other hand will travel and stay in Atlanta for days and spend lots of money there. The all mighty dollar at work.

Do Bama fans really think everyone other than them is always whining/butthurt/dickriding?

The Capital One bowl freaking sucks. I would much prefer going to Atlanta and play in an indoor facility than in a broken down old outdoor municipal stadium located in the middle of crack town.
Also, Didn't LSU say that they would not return to the Capital One Bowl after the Turf Gate game against Penn State?
