Also, finally home. Sucks that I missed this one. How did LSU get those runs in the 9th? Were they earned?

Sadly yes, they were earned. DVH tried to get cute by letting Simpson close and he sucked it up, had to put in Gunn to finish.

DVH got all cute with a 8 run lead and instead of putting Suggs in to close the door and GTFO out of there he put in a fresh. that I've honestly never heard of that only pitches every couple weeks in the midweek games and surprise surfreakinprise, the frosh is shaky and walks a couple and proceeds to load the bases and gives up the shutout. All the runs should be earned.
It was a dominating hog win, and the scoreboard makes it look closer.

Anderson was in LF, Mahan at SS I believe.
Anderson just needs to DH, he's a huge liability in the field. I'm talking like seriously taking his glove and hiding it from him. He jumped wrong on just about every ball hit his way, his initial instinct in the field isn't great. I imagine he spends a lot of time taking BP.

McAfee was back at SS, Mahan was at 3rd, Fisher at 1st.
He moved Spoon up from batting 3rd to 2nd behind Mahan leading off, put Vinson at 3rd in the order and Anderson at clean up, with Fico batting 5th.
Don't believe Spoon has hit 2nd, or anywhere but 3rd in the order, all season.
Fico having a huge day is what made us hit, we need Fico with Anderson and Spoon and Mahan/Vinson, those guys can hit just fine.
