FF Row 10, not U4. Figured looking into the sun on a late November game wouldn't be too bad given we're coming from the warm AZ sun.

The Iron Bowl had a 50/50 ticket split. Last one was in 1988.

If you want the true Bama Experience, have dinner at Baumhowers in Birmingham and get you some wings. Stop at the nearest Kangaroo Gas Station and buy you a 12 pack of Natty Lites and two packs of cigarettes (unfiltered Camel- so you can share with wife). Head to the nearest Motel 6 and knock out the 12 pack. Wake up the next morning and drive thru Jacks and head to T-town (stop and put a shaker on the Bear's Grave first). Park at a nearby church and walk around the stadium and the Quad. Watch game with the tailgaters and then head home. Tell everyone you were there and enjoy the results. RTR.

My arse it was 50/50. Legion Field shareholders had tickets to every event at LF and most of them were Bama Fans. 60/40 was a more accurate number.

Half BAMA, half barners.

Or, conversely, have the true Auburn experience: spend all year talking about how Auburn won last year’s Iron Bowl. Bring it up in every conversation with someone you know to be a Bama fan, no matter what the actual subject under discussion is. Also be sure to talk about the Kick Six and the Camback constantly even though they happened years ago. Wear your “Hey Nick! Got a second?” t-shirt to any event not specifically designated as coat-and-tie (not that you would be invited to such events anyway). Spend long hours talking with Auburn friends and posting on message boards about how Gus has lost his mojo and the University just needs to “fahr his arse” no matter what the buyout. Head to T-town for the Iron Bowl with money to buy tickets that probably ought to go to your kids’ Christmas, but what the hell, their stepdaddy can cover it this year (he did last year too, and the year before that). Sit in the stands and watch the Tigers get drug up and down the field by Alabama, as usually happens.
As you’re leaving the stadium, Rammer Jammer echoing in your ears, look at a cheering Bama fan and say, “Well, at least we Auburn folks have our priorities straight.”

What is Auburn’s record in Tuscaloosa ?
Posted on 11/1/18 at 5:36 pm to Irons Puppet
5-4, not including any games played before 2000, which I don’t care enough to look up. Given that we’ve won 7 of the last 10 games overall, and given the wildly divergent trajectories of our respective programs, I highly recommend getting all the use out of that stat while you still can.

In other words , you choose to ignore facts or manipulate them to suit your narrative. I know a lot of Bama fans were not in the bandwagon before 2000, but they did play football.
The only people insulted by my post are the guilty parties. The ones who actually go to the games know what I’m talking about.

No, I don’t care enough about your record in Tuscaloosa to look up a handful of games that were played in the early twentieth century. I’m sure you do. You brought it up, after all.

You just like to read history where you win. You never studied the Civil War I bet.

What a stupid rejoinder. Do you spend a lot of time studying Alabama football history?
...wait, that was a dumb question. You’re an Auburn fan. Of course you do.
Now can we please get this thread back to the OP’s intended purpose?

No dumbass, I have lived the majority of my life in Alabama, so naturally I know about the history of both teams. It is the interlopers and bandwagoners that do not know about the history of the programs prior to 2000.

Growing up in Alabama, my brother and I went to several Iron Bowls when it was The Real Iron Bowl played in Legion Field in Birmingham. The game today is nothing compared to the atmosphere in the stadium and in Birmingham back then. The entire town was electric for the full week.
Enjoy your game. The game will be great, but you have missed the excitement the Iron Bowl used to generate.
