We land at 3p and have to stay in Birmingham. TTown prices were insane for rooms!

Can't tell you how excited we are to see an Iron Bowl! We started this Rivalry Tour in 2016 with a great experience in Baton Rouge for LSU/Bama (looking forward to Saturday).

As we prepare for Tuscaloosa, I wanted to reach out and see if anyone had further suggestions for our itinerary?
Friday - Arrive in Birmingham. Dinner at Highlands Bar and Grill. Staying at the Redmont.
Saturday - Driver picks us up at 9am and head to TTown. Thinking we hit Gallettes first. Should we hang on the Strip for a while or straight to the Quad?
I know the BB museum gets a lot of press. As "outsiders" would we enjoy it or just focus on the tailgates?
Definitely will catch walk of champions and Elephant Stomp. Any other suggestions or must do's??

We'll be cheering for the Tigers from the desert. I've been reminiscing of our experience at this game in 2016 when we started our House Divided Rivalry Tour. You all made us feel so welcomed and was truly the best sporting event I've ever attended.
We're going to the Iron Bowl this year and although it won't be Baton Rouge, we're excited to get back to an SEC game/environment.

Start at Chimes and get a bloody. Carry a small bag with some ice and a couple beers for in between tailgates. Be friendly and introduce yourself. Greatest fans we've ever encountered. Have fun. (LSU/Bama 2016)

Oh and the band was awesome. Couldn't believe how many people were in the stadium forty minutes before kickoff

Turtle soup was awesome! Great jambalaya, gumbo and bbq. Really tasty crawfish sausage. Melt in your mouth rib eyes dashed with "slap ya momma". Even got some head cheese. (My clothes are a little tighter) :lol:

The Chimes is one of the best bars I've been to. We went back Sunday just to bring home some yellow cups. :cheers:
