Kiffin left for a better job. It’s literally that simple
It’s really not that simple. He quit on his team after a historical season for that university in the middle of a playoff run to go to a program that hasn’t been relevant since 2019. Why? More money and all time undisputed selfishness. He’s making your program look like a bunch of fools and suckers and you’re too stupid to realize it. He’s getting bonuses from LSU without even coaching a game, well besides the game that he felt like he was too important to stay after halftime. He would be calling plays for a middle school team somewhere right now if Saban didn’t resurrect his career that was in the gutter. USC literally left him at the tarmac. The Raiders dumped him before the season hit the halfway point. He’s a good offensive play caller, but if you think you’ve hired some program builder like a Nick Saban, then you’re fooling yourself even more.

I mean, are you really trying to argue that LSU isn't a better job than Ole Miss?
Kiffin wanted to stay but OM AD wouldn't let him coach through the playoffs.

Surely they won some sort of championship in 2022?

LSU is probably a better job than UF too, especially right now with our doofus AD.

I’m shocked yall haven’t gotten rid of him. Too much history at Florida to put up with that nonsense

Historically? Maybe slightly better. In that way it could be considered a stepping stone job. He’ll probably be content there until an actual good job opens up. What I find interesting about LSU is their fanbase is acting like the dude that celebrates stealing the neighbors unfaithful wife. It’s all good until the cheater cheats on them. And it’s going to happen, unless Lane underachieves which has also happened a few times.

"slightly" better?
Are you aware that Ole Miss has never ever played in a football championship game? Even Miss St has.

You can't reason with Bama fans in matters involving LSU. They've even stooped to defending UT in this thread, their hated "rival". If we had hired Nick Saban they'd be on here arguing that he's washed. If they were smart they would just call it what it is - a good hire - and go about their bueiness. But they're too eaten up with LSU. They can't bring themselves to do it.

Bama fans taking up for Tennessee
I know this might be hard to understand for LSU fans, but I don't need to make up bullshite reasons and create a fantasy narrative to dis Tennessee fans.
I laughed at Tennessee fans when he left....because he fricked them over. So when I say - he fricked them over, it's because he fricked them over. Not because I'm sticking up for them.
Sorry to ruin your fantasy with honesty. I have plenty of valid reasons and things to give Tennessee fans shite about.

Saban retired for a reason. You were never going to hire him, it's just yet another example of how delusional and stupid fans like you are to even believe it was remotely possible to begin with.
Just like all your claims he would have rather been at LSU, while the entire time he was hired at Alabama his buyout for leaving was $0. All LSU had to do was make him an offer, and you could have taken him then. It didn't happen because only in the mind of LSU fans did he actually want that.

He won't last long at LSU, that's for sure. I will be surprised if he ever coaches a single game there.
On the bright side, we dodged that bullet thank goodness.
