We were out of it as soon as y'all scored more than 1 run. That's been the blue print to beating us here recently.

must have been a nice MSU crowd too.. I could hear the Maroon/White chant loud and clear over the radio.

Trustmark Park is too small to host the tourney. Very nice facility though.
Been to a lot of games at TMP and I have never seen the grassy knoll packed like it was tonight. Concessions were pathetic, they could not handle the crowd. I stood in the beer line just as long as I would have if it had been Thirsty Thursdays.

I refuse to participate in this cheer. It's terrible.

Oh yeah, probably 60-40 State from what I saw. My son and I got it started on the second out by Holder in the B9th. We were giving the ump hell too. He missed equally though.

If old arse dementia ridden OM fans can participate in their dugouts hands in the air dance thing then the Maroon/White cheer isn't turrible.

Yeah, that shite is gay as frick. I clap, yell and raise hell, but I just don't like the Maroon/White cheer.

He has been lights out in save situations... Can't say the same in non-save situations, though.
Tonight was a non save situation.

damn, you're right.. Well I guess there's a first for everything.. I just assumed it was since he came in with one out in the 8th, but I forgot the same rule applies, i.e. tying run has to be on deck or he has to pitch at least 3 innings.

Either way you are right. It felt like a save situation tonight, and I'm sure it did to him as well.

I've had people be like, "why don't you do that cheer?" I'm all like, "I am not drunk at a football game."
That's the only time I will do it.

in the lsu thread the guy who posts other sec scores said he thought renfroe hurt his wrist in the 9th? Is that true? No one seems to be talking about it on here so i guess he's fine.

He slid coming in for a short pop-up, and his wrist got caught in the ground. The trainer came out to look at him, but he stayed in the game and no beat writers have mentioned it being anything serious.
