I've seen 15-20k Auburn fans in Tuscaloosa for an Iron Bowl. 2004 and 2010 come to mind. And we always have our full band there.

I was at the 2010 Iron Bowl. The vast majority of AU fans left at halftime and never saw the comeback.

The band sounded loud as well, but I’m guessing they had a microphone up there.

I heard y’all all the way in Gadsden Alabama. Good job for doing gods work. Ole Miss and Tennessee will be their next losses at home. Bama goes 9-3 this year. By time the UT game comes around Bama fans will stop showing up to games.

I’ve seen some estimates of 15k, maybe even 20k or more of Texas fans in the stands.. anyone that was there want to take a guess? How does that compare to other games, in or out of conference?

It was your superbowl while it was just another game in the SEC.

Ratings should be high though.

I was there. Only game I’ve been to in BDS. I don’t remember seeing Auburn fans leave, but I almost did. I remember saying if Alabama scores 1 more time we’re leaving. Glad I didn’t leave.

Also sat next to some really great Alabama fans in the upper deck. They even took our picture after the game.

I've never had a bigger case of red arse than leaving the 2010 Iron Bowl. It was truly 2 completely different ballgames. The first half Bama built the big lead and the stadium was insanely loud. When Auburn threw the Kong touchdown pass early in the 2nd half it was a slow grind of Auburn squeezing the Alabama offense and making plays to eventually take the lead.

Never dreamed the play the Auburn defender made punching the ball out of Ingram's arms thru the back of the endzone would end up being such a huge play at the time. Everything switched from that point on

How come the home games are never like this? And the tailgating scene I’d God Awful weak. Living in Austin and never even know that it’s game day and I live downtown just block from the campus.

The Alabama game last year was an amazing environment.

I grew up going to Death Valley and definitely wouldn’t compare the two, but I think now with an SEC schedule coming in and teams that are worth cheering for the place might get a bit livelier.

Tailgating will never be as good due to the location of campus in the middle of downtown.
