Was a great game, especially for an exhibition. Level of play was pretty damn high for this early in the season and completely new teams. AU played some lineups that will probably never be seen unless we are up big numbers and I think you guys were down 3 guys that will get a lot of time in the season.

If OSU's backcourt plays like that all season, they will be a tough team to beat. Lots of very tough, contested shots made and on an absolute heater from 3.

Nothing like some good old fashioned overreaction to an exhibition game.

yes I will overreact if we beat Purdue

No idea how AU will look once the actual rotation is in place, but we'll definitely be a way different team than last year without the 2 bigs in the middle. Okie Lite has one guy that can flat light it up from Caitlyn Clark range.

Is Keyshawn Murphy out an extended period now?

Haven't heard anything yet. Will be a big problem if he is. We aren't great down low to begin with.

"The encouraging sign was that, after Murphy had to be brought to Auburn's bench with help from the trainers, he sat with his teammates after a quick evaluation, and the staff was not frantic or even paying much attention to him. After the game when Auburn was packing up, we saw Murphy walking out without any assistance.

Pearl obviously did not want to comment immediately after the game, since Auburn does not have any information yet, but Murphy will be evaluated Thursday back on campus. "

That's good to hear.

Offensively, we looked like a team that hasn't played a lot of basketball together. To be expected. Taad was ice cold most of the game, so was most of the team. If we shoot the ball average, probably win by 10 or so.

Defensively, lots to work on, especially on ball defending and rebounding. Way too many second possessions for OSU.

Free throws better improve or will cost us games like this one did. Started awful, but did improve in second half.

You win a co-conference championship every 56 years or so and you think you’re world beaters
