They will still win a lot of games. This reminds me of some of his later teams at Tennessee. More talent than his early teams but didn’t play as hard and seemed to lack an identity. Halfcourt execution has never been Pearl’s strong suit. Very good tactically in special situations and an elite motivator but sometimes things get away from him in game.

Not likely. He has made at least the Elite 8 every year he’s been a 1 seed and never lost in the first weekend as a top 2 seed.
Not sure what that has to do with the regular season championship though.

I also just don't think Texas applies to him anymore. Even team composition is completely different. This is a blue collar team.
