What advantages would that be and given by whom?
Everyone on this board, especially Bama fans, have seen every time Bama fires coaches for paying players or their players/ex-players admit what they got extra and have seen other schools (like Ole Miss) go down for the exact same things. That is advantages. Otherwise Bama would still be on probation like they were when Saban and Emmert arrived and be getting nailed right along side Ole Miss.

We don't have to relist all the stories that have popped up on espn and what violations and what they should get since Saban arrived.

I actually don't think we win this one. First game with a lot of new faces on D.

Lots of talent, but experience matters. I'd be much more confident of winning it later in the year.

You've confused Bama with Auburn.

The finest deer in American reside in the parts of Alabama closest to Tuscaloosa and well away from that cow-infested wasteland known as Lee County.

These deer have fine hairs on their antlers which contain a chemical that, with some effort & skill, can be refined into a spray. This spray- in copious amounts- is provided to Bama players by a secret organization known only by its initials as R E C.

The spray makes the players -except the kicker- huge & swoll. The only side effects are proness to false start penalties for OL & the maddening inability of DBs to turn their heads and look for the ball.

Most overated #1 in NCAA history. Cherry pick the best players in the country and still cant go undefeated.

Alabama cherry picks their ooc games as well with these kick off classics instead of a home and home. Please tell me the last time they have played a home n home with anyone with a pulse? Saban is a joke

Auburn would never lower their academic standards for a football player would they?

quote:

Cincinnati, OHIO — The official statement given via Jack Brennan, public relations director for the Cincinnati Bengals, is: “James Brooks was able to function and perform in his football role while with the Bengals. No one was aware there was a problem.”
The “problem” he refers to was the revelation that occurred during a hearing in Judge Steve Martin’s Hamilton County, Ohio, courtroom last month regarding delinquent child support payments in excess of $110,000. James Brooks could not read the court documents; this after graduating from Warner Robins High School in Georgia in 1977 and after spending at least four years at Auburn University in Alabama.
When asked by the judge how he graduated from Auburn, Brooks said, “I didn’t have to go to class.”

When was the last time any SEC team played a home and home with a decent team?

Saban is bad because he shrewdly signs up for big time marquee games with a bowl atmosphere that are great for recruiting?

How do all you bama fans feel about the FSU game?

Should be a fun watch.

Im equal parts excited and nervous. I curious to see how much Jalen has improved on stretching the field. He has a ton of weapons at his disposal, so that is exciting. FSU OL was susceptible last year and their qb took a ton of hits. I think Bama wins a close one, but this will be the most nervous I've been to start a season in a long time.

Its like the Yankees in a way, they can get all of the best players at each position and create a juggernaut of a team but they still cant win the big game without the other team laying an egg.

Alabama players are not known for being very smart, more like cavemen. Clemson had them both games. Notre Dame had no business in the championship, weakest team to play for the title since the BCS was created, more like a BYU of the 80s without scoring.

Then we have the LSU rematch game. The tigers shouldnt have had to play a rematch hame, whats the regular season for? They got hosed

greatest program ever my arse. REC doin work. Take a look at half the 90s then the first few years up to 2007? and look at asll the vacated games from cheating, my god. If history holds true they are due to vacate some more victoriez

Yankees have won 18 division titles, 40 AL pennants, and 27 World Series championships, all of which are MLB records.
You lost all cred right there!

You realize that makes zero sense. Bama's probation was set before Saban ever got to Bama. It was extended under Saban because of the textbook thing.

Bama gets the best players because Bama is the best program. Sorry this makes you mad. Bama went undefeated in 2009

You are so right. We should cancel all future seasons and crown bama the nashinul champinchipers. That way they can claim the Infiniti nashinul champers sponsered by Infiniti.
