It's schools similar to Grand Valley State, Cincinnati and Central Michigan. Are you familiar with those schools?

His teams have played in 5 NC games winning 3 of those. May not be the same level, but he got there.

We were told those don't count, remember?

Dude is a winner and it was a great hire. Had much more success than when LSU hired Saban. People need perspective.
Are we comparing Alabama in 2024 to LSU in 2000?

It isn't even close. LSU hadn't had a decent coach in ages, hadn't had a natty since before integration, and hadn't won the conference outright in 14 years.

Alabama was just in the CFP.

I certainly do and I was not one of those. If you all being sarcastic, I get it.

Just hard to see it when other schools are saying the same things. There hasn't been a coach hired yet that the other 13, now 15 schools, won't thinks is a complete failure.

I think it's a solid hire and any rational Bama fan should be happy with him

He's obviously no Saban but neither is anyone else

Bama won't be in contention every year but I don't see him being anywhere close to a disaster

If I had to guess He's going to get average 8 to 10 wins a year but with trips to the CFP every 3 or 4 years

I hope he is a good hire but not a great one.

And Brian Kelly has an average of 3.21 losses a year combined. 3.54 at Notre Dame and a 3.5 average at LSU so far.

In fact, his lowest loss average is in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a whopping 2.69 losses per year average.
