I just want to say one thing.

To the fans and everybody in Gator Nation, I'm sorry, extremely sorry.

I promise you one thing, a lot of good will come out of this.

You will never see any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of the season, and you will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season, and you will never see a team play harder that we will the rest of the season.

God bless.

Really? Downvotes because I wouldn't wish my son to be a goody two shoes Christian, nor a ruthless career obsessed killjoy. Sometimes I do forget how fricking binary you cretins are. My son, by the way, is 28 years old and is moving into his 1st management position for the Deutschebahn next month (yes it is a pretty fricking cool). He's doing just fine and I couldn't be more proud of him so please explain to me why I need or want for him to be like Tebow.

You must be very proud of your son. Doesn't change the fact that Tebow is a good man.

You guys sound like really great dads or future dads if you don't already have children. Still if you guys could do me one favor. When your sons turn out not to be exactly like Tebow try and not let them see your disappointment. Thanks.

Nobody is saying you should need or want your son to be like Tebow. Your son could be all that you have wanted him to become and that is great. I think the general consensus is that, IF anybody’s son turned out like Tebow that it was/is a successful parenting job.

Perhaps you'll point out where I said or even implied otherwise?

Listen dude, with all due respect, I'm an atheist and the most important character trait to me, as a father and a man, is intellectual honesty/integrity. So, even though I really like Tebow and respect his right to believe as he wishes, maybe you can understand why that I wouldn't want my son to be anything remotely like Tebow. Everyone father has a dream of the man his son will become and mine turned out pretty frickin' close to ideal.

I don't remember the media mocking him. I remember fans on message boards mocking him, but not the media. If memory serves, they sang his praises quite often.

Deutschebahn = German Railway

He was an locomotive engineer aka train driver before he got his promotion.

No, see they hated him so much that they gave him multi-million dollar contracts to work for ESPN (a Walt Disney corporation).
