They were strong back in the 80’s. Barry Larkin, Chris Sabo, Casey Close, and Jim Abbott. Derek Jeter signed with them and was then drafted in the first round by the Yankees.

MS is the Georgia sports teams of college baseball.

Braves, Falcons, Dawgs, always good.....not good enough.

State has been going to CWS regularly for 35 years and come with nothing. All their money goes to baseball because as Larry Templeton said, this was the only sport we could compete in regularly.

And still, can't win it all.
