Interesting little fact I heard on ESPN. Crazy they can still reload like no one else in the country.

10 of 24 couldn’t play and Saban got rid of them.

THATs how Bama reloads.

Just for clarity, the article being referenced is that 10 remain, not 10 have left. So 14 have left. 4 were drafted so 10 more transferred or were dismissed. It's easy to recover from that when you have the #1 composite class for like 8 straight years and have 5 star and high 4 star players riding the bench.

No no no,

Only LSU recruits fail to live up to hype.

That’s a pretty crazy number but not surprising. You get passed up at Bama it’s hard to think you can ever have a shot at playing.

difference is the person that replaces them is a 5 star stud. LSU replaces transfers with projects.

The problem with making a direct comparison with LSU is that Bama loses 14 kids to transfers or the draft, they have 14 more players that were top 100 recruits to replace them.

LSU loses that many and we are relying on finding diamonds in the rough like Chark and Lacouture.

There is some truth to this.

There is some truth to this too.

Bottom line is that people place too much emphasis on how signing classes are ranked. Some players are underrated. Some players are overrated and highly ranked players that don't get college playing time as quickly as they think they should based on how they were ranked in HS, tend to transfer.

And then they replace them with former 5 start transfers like Savion Smith, Isaiah Buggs and Jacob Coker.

No, 10 remain. 14 have left.

The ones who got drafted also left.

These bama commits aren't leaving because they failed to live up to the hype.

They're leaving because there are only 22 starting spots for 70+ players, most of which who could start on any other school's roster. Eight straight composite #1 ranked recruiting classes or whatever the frick it is will do that.

The talent discrepancy between them and us being so disgustingly wide is one of the reasons I don't give a shite about losing to them anymore.

LINK

then why have each of these 10 schools won or played for a national title at least once in the last decade.

you and Ree can sit here and gripe about the flawed rankings doing grave injustices to the Russel Gages of the world, and I will continue to keep faith in the larger trend, specifically, that top talent increases your odds of winning.

We only have about 9 left from our 2015 class.

5 left early. The rest transferred out.
