Idk about all of you, but the SEC has loosened its grip on the rest of the college football world. Now all of sudden Meyer, Stoops, Fisher, Patterson, Briles and some others think it's safe to run off at the mouth. I'm not down with SEC chants, but we are the cream of the crop when it comes to this damn sport! Let's handle our business this year in OOC games. Then when it's bowl time dish out some arse whippings!

What does Stoops have to talk about? It was his loss to OK State that cost the Big 12 a playoff team. Going into that weekend TCU, Baylor, and Ohio State were essentially tied for the 4th playoff spot.
Then "Big Game Bob" choked yet another game away. Since OU was one of the only decent teams on Baylor and TCU's schedule, that loss dropped the perception of the Big 12 and Ohio State was chosen as the final playoff team.
OU and Texas doing a damn good job of sinking the Big 12

I've never really understood the whole "I want sec team" to loose an OOC game. It only hurts the conference image/performance and let's face it, image/performance is huge when it comes down the top 4 teams for the CFPO. There will be a time soon that the SEC champ will have multiple losses and will need the strength of conference to make the difference. If SEC teams start losing more OOC games than they win then it may be your favorite team getting left out of the big 4. I want all SEC teams to win/crush their OOC opponents.

Because 2013 Mizzou is much more respected. Fans will say that anytime it's not UGA or Florida winning the East. They would say the same if Arkansas, Ole Miss, or MSU won the west. It would be because Bama, LSU, and Auburn were down

Baylor got blown out mid-season by an unranked WVU. That's why they didn't make it.
tOSU blew out Michigan and #13 Wisconsin (CCG) back to back while TCU closed it's season blowing out Iowa State. That's why they were selected over TCU.

Going into the final weekend the panel said it was basically tied between Baylor, TCU, and Ohio State. And, in fact, if they had to pick, Ohio State was 3rd among them. It wasn't until after OU shite the bed against OK State that Ohio State jumped Baylor and TCU.
