Overrated, great!!! Keep saying that as we are the only major bcs team w/o a loss. Get over it you pricks!
hence part of the reason you are overrated...also, see my predictions...let's see how they play out and we'll see who the pricks are, I'm giving you my honest assessment. Beat Florida and win your bowl.
You were outplayed all game by this year's junk LSU team, you damn near lost to Kentucky, and had several other poorly played games this year (I can't remember all the damn games I just remember never really being all that impressed, other than the first half against Georgia).
Alabama is deserving of a BCS bowl appearance this year for the season's accomplishments, no doubt in my opinion, just not the championship. If you beat Florida though, then you've certainly earned that appearance. My opinion remains, however, that Bama is not as good as advertised. Julio Jones, however, is an absolute stud.

Youth argument is crap. We're playing 16 freshmen.
What class does your QB classify as? Yeah, exactly. And our QB situation has been abysmal, even beyond the excuse of class, they just flat out have underperformed, how many LSU fans have really denied that? And "playing" sixteen freshman means not all that much to me...you had the number one class last year, 16 freshman seeing the field isn't all that crazy.
And hence I said our LB's suck. I didn't blame it on youth douche. But keep being a defensive little frick and living in la-la land...
and playing 16 freshman in no way refutes my comment that you're overrated now does it?

Pretty much what I said QB recruiting.

umm.. yes, you did...I quote you-

We suck this year (for SEC standards) for a myriad of reasons, largely to do with youth

there is no reason to be short on talent or young when you've had the years lsu has had. mess liles recruited poorly or you would have depth at qb period.
deal with that baiters..
yeah you're right...championship caliber teams don't have down years or poor seasons due to losses or youth...I mean, when's the last time a team won the championship and then went on to lose 4 games the next season? I mean, that shite never happens, right? And I bet if it did, there's no way that team would be able to compete for the championship again the following year. Its clearly an indication of horrible recruiting and the beginning of that team's inevitable demise...
oh wait...
Posted on 11/27/08 at 10:11 pm to ChewyDante
the delusion of the bammers is still going.

Pretty much what I said QB recruiting.
Actually, not at all. Jarrett Lee was a 4 star prospect and an elite 11 quarterback as I recall. Jordan Jefferson also a 4 star quarterback. Ahead of them was Andrew Hatch, who was set to play the backup role to a Jr. Ryan Perrilloux, 5 star QB recruit. Damn, Les sucks at recruiting QB's...
and oh yeah, I specified that the poor performance was beyond just the youth, as stated when I confessed that they just aren't performing up to expectations of their perceived talent level... thus that aspect has nothing to do with youth or recruiting, it has to do with the ever persistent possibility of kids just not performing.

Don't let any other tigers see you say that.. lol
everybody knows you guys had a good class, but making shirts about it and shite is pretty lame...

umm.. yes, you did...I quote you-
yeah, and omit how I clearly said that our LB's have sucked and our QB's have underperformed. Let me give you a lesson in reading comprehension: what do you think the use of the word "largely" is meant to indicate in that sentence??

Mostly, the majority, more than small, overriding factor, more to do so than. Have I missed one?

Mostly, the majority,
***DISCLAIMER***
*this is purely an example, please don't respond with some dumb arse post assuming that any of these percentages correlate to LSU's problems this year...*
It could mean majority but not necessarily...if there are multiple factors, let's say 6, then it could break down like a) is 30% of the problem, b) is 20% of the problem, c)is 20% of the problem, d) is 10% " ", e) is 10% " ", and f) is 10% of the problem.
Now you see how a) is largely the problem yet not the majority? Its mostly the problem in the sense that its more than any of the other single individual problem, but when in the full picture its not even mostly the problem.

more than small
nice job

overriding factor
negative, I would have indicated such if I felt so...
quote:
more to do so than
this is acceptable...
quote:
Have I missed one?
I'm sure you have, but it was a rhetorical question so I won't continue this any further...the point is, by saying "largely" I clearly indicated that youth alone was not the only factor, and I even further pointed out some of those other factors. So learn how to read comprehensively before posting dumb shite.

It would be easier if you expanded your vocabulary and just used, "partly to blame".

Yes, "partly to blame" is such an expansion of one's vocabulary.
If you can't understand what "largely" to blame means considering the context, and you jump to unfounded conclusions in spite of elaboration of the other problems expressed in the SAME sentence just a little further along, then I don't know what else to tell you dude.
Point being, I think Bama's overrated. Beat Florida and win your bowl and prove to me otherwise. And yes LSU is not a very good team this year, as I stated earlier...

Yet you're the one who responded to my post and started the exchange to begin with...hmm. It was the underlying theme of my post, you do realize that right? But nice try at playing that role. Way to bow out smoothly...

Hey Bamafish....life is getting ready to kick you in your Crimson arse!!
Please come back here after your first loss, hoefully this Saturday, so I can properly laugh in your fricking face. You are why everybody hates Gumps.

That's BS. You hate Alabama because Nick Saban didn't love LSU enough to NOT take the hottest job in college football at *GASP* Alabama.

Actually, this just got me pissed off at Saban initially. The reason I started avidly rooting against Alabama and generated a relative distaste for their fans (which I never really had an opinion of prior, program or fans) was b/c of the reaction by their fanbase (generally speaking of course...God I have to put fricking disclaimers in for everything b/c I know some retard is gonna take it to mean that I'm generalizing ALL Bama fans) to getting Saban. It was a nah-nah, in your face, Alabama will rise again and LSU will suck, kind of thing.
The animosity wouldn't quite be what it is if that wasn't the case IMO.

ChewyDante-
You're mindfricking yourself. This sudden "Saban Rivalry" only matters to you Geauxmers. We're all laughing at your insecurity and the irony of it all. Do you really think the only team in the SEC to have a winning record against every team in the SEC would stay down forever? Do you think Saban would have taken just any ole job in the SEC? Probation was tough - took too many scholarships but Alabama is too deep in fans and tradition to ever go away. Saban is 57 years old - he knows what Alabama is all about and how deep it's tradition is and what that means to a program. He made the perfect choice and it's paying off exactly as he knew it would. That's why you're having an anxiety attack over Alabama.

or
"just wait until we have talent, we are still hurting from probation"
God I hope bama loses saturday.
But damn, what a sore loser post. I hope God destroys Alabama just as much as the next guy, but shite dude.
