NGAF Board

This would be the busiest board on TD's if it were to be "real"

Everything I know about indoor track has been posted in this thread. LMBO.

That was obvious from the start. Here's just one piece of trivia:

Arkansas has more National Championships in track than Texas A&M has conference championships.

Our outdoor facility is the only Olympic qualified college facility in the nation. Go play with your kiddie toys somewhere else. When your facilities are qualified to host the Olympics, you can sit at the big boy table.

Hasn't Oregon hosted Olympic trials at their outdoor track? Or is that not what you meant?

The only olympic trials I saw in Eugene were indoor. You might be right, though.

ETA: And there might be different rules for being able to run trials and being "Olympically qualified". I'd have to do research I'm too lazy to do. All I know is that Arkansas could host the track portion of the Olympics based on qualifications.

I'm almost positive that the American trials for 2008 were held at their outdoor track. Hayward Field is what it's called IIRC. Yeah the only other school that comes close to Arkansas in track success is LSU(women's) and the only other school that takes track as seriously as us and has made as big an impact is Oregon(Nike, Pre, etc.)

For the record, we don't even have an outdoor facility.
