I haven't read a practice report in the past week so that would explain my surprise. Is practicing both LB and RB?

I would say more offense than defense, but I could be wrong. Saban probably needed a 5th RB since Goode wasn't getting positive yardage...

He won't stay though, he's future is at LB, he's too good not to play there...

Saban has turned Bama into a terrifying machine of football domination. A good, and probably controversial, thread topic would be whether his superior level of success at Alabama is due to something inherent there or his growth as a coach

sorry. just joined the thread. great, our offense is stellar against a nobody again, just like they should be. so nothing to freak out about on the offense. can anyone give me any good reason why duke was able to move the ball a good bit on us? or am i just gettin to damn Sabanized in my thinking so critically?

seems to me we have a real challenge ahead of us with Mallet's arse.

Julio looked like something was nagging him the whole game.

After watching the Penn State game again yesterday, then this game today, I'm really worried. Our offense, of course, is stellar. Our defense, though, shows some big time warning signs. Duke drove on us over and over (especially for a team of their caliber). We miss tackles regularly (even with our stars like Donta) and have gotten lucky with dropped passes when we should have been gashed.

Hopefully Saban get get it turned around before the Arkansas game...but I'm worried
