Honestly, I think a pre-season tournament/round robin at the BJCC between UA, AU, UAB, and South Alabama would be a lot of fun.

don`t know if Bama can get Marshall or not but i`m a firm believer good competition makes everyone better(can anyone actually say Saban being at UA hasn`t been good for AU)and Pearl has already said he hopes the basketball iron bowl will one day be a national type game. So good luck to you guys...but i reserve the right to

Yeah...its good for the conference as a whole. If Bama lands Marshall, AU has Pearl, UT gets Barnes, MSU has Howland, then basketball in the SEC just got interesting again...with Kentucky and good second tier powers in Florida, Arky, and LSU, the SEC's basketball product just got a whole helluva lot better...this is good for all of us as the SEC Network gets a better product for programing thus increasing revenues for all schools....we troll and talk crap, but basketball getting a lot better is good for our league and our finances.

It is laughable that bammers think their basketball program maters. I am watching PTI with Tony Kornheiser and Micheal Wilbon.
They just mentioned the Texas and St John coaching vacancy in college basketball. Even mentioned Gregg MArshall being a candidate for Texas.
Never said a word about Bammer except Kornheisier making a passing comment that bama basketball never makes the NCAA tournament. More proof of how irrelevant bama basketball is on a national level

How does it make you feel that a shitty program like Bama has a record of 93-58 against Auburn? Does it piss you off that Bama fired their coach this year that went 2-0 against the best basketball coach that Auburn has ever had in their history?
