Has this been hashed out yet?

If you watched the first versus second half it would damn make sense.

Rabb and Winston.

Makes you curious about the three terrible INTs in the first half.

Of all the stuff people have tried to pin to Winston this seems like the least likely to stick.

I think Winston is a POS, but he isn't throwing games for less than 5k.

True, we said Gurley wasn't signing autographs for $400...turns out he wasn't.

Now, bookie would have to be a grade of stupid above Bryan Allen to put his name out there.

Their compliance will have to investigate..."Jameis did you bet money on FSU-Louisville game" Jameis, "no". Investigation over.

While the story likely will not go anywhere, having it connected directly to one of his friends versus a random bet will draw some attention.

I don't know about Winston but I have thought several times that it wouldn't surprise me in the least that someone in our program wasn't doing this....only fleeting thoughts but we sure get blown out of a lot of games we should be tight in. Bear Bryant had a reputation for being very gambler friendly....I don't think it is so but Bobo has a house full of kids and lots of pressure to earn, Richt is in a similar situation....just saying it wouldn't come as a total shock.....

If it came out that Richt or Bobo were calling games differently because they had money on them, shocked wouldn't even start to describe my reaction.

I'm sure there's a ton of reasons we get blown out in the games we do and it is definitely frustrating as hell. But man, don't embarass yourself with this. It's not even worth spending the time to list the reasons Richt and Bobo aren't throwing games.

As far as someone in our program, wouldn't even be remotely surprised to find that Quincy Carter did. Or he just stayed up all night doing coke. Or both? But since then I haven't really worried about it. It's positions like QB that are really set up to throw a game and I don't see any of the QBs we've had under Richt doing it. At all. And no, I don't think our kickers have been either

Does anyone remember some brothers who had inexplicable drops and fumbles at key times in games?

...and for your info, when you are working a point shaving scam, you spread it out over a number of books. You can do that if you or your friend belongs to a gang pretty easily.

Not being shocked would probably be more attitutable to being a cynical bastard to begin with.....

If there is any fixing going on the R eps and the players would be the easy targets...lower salaries mean less risk to the fixer...

Would make a helluva novel..

This is gonna shock some people but in my experience books are typically somewhat antisocial folks. they tend to handle their concerns inhouse. Dont normally ask authorities for assistance. its kinda bad for business

He and former UGA coach Wally Butts got caught up in a little betting scandal....some of you younger bucks may not know about this interesting little history in UA/UGA lore.

If indeed those bets were placed, the coincidence of Winston's play in the first half would at least require some questions. Also, why would your friend and former teammate bet against you and risk so much?

This happens more than we like to think. I would almost feel better about last Saturdays UF game if somebody told me we threw it on purpose.

This times fifty.

Also, if you look at the allegations and then look real close at the books, they don't match. The books show a payout of $5500 and the allegations indicate a bet of $5500. At -110, that's a huge mistake. My feeling here is that this is a legitimate book, probably not for Rabb's account (if one actually exists), that has been altered by someone unfamiliar with book keeping to try to pass as evidence. I just hope it's not incarcerated bob, his cred's on the line if he made that mistake.
