There isn't nearly as much hype as the Summer Olympics, or even the Vancouver Olympics. I guess it has to do with all the drama in Russia.

No, it's not unpatriotic.
Me, I love the Winter Olympics. I like them better than the Summer Olympics. Speed skating, downhill skiing, curling, luge, bobsled, hockey. I hope there's a good stream on the nets so I can watch it all at work.

I've always enjoyed the Winter Olympics, though not as much as the Summer. Perhaps the lack of celebrity or super athlete in these games for the US has something to do the apathy. Other than LoLo Jones, I cannot name a single US athlete competing.

I enjoy them, just like I enjoy Alabama volleyball, w soccer, baseball, and other sports that are incredibly boring. It's about the pride and having a rooting interest in them, for me.

I actually do like volleyball... it's one of my favorite non-football, basketball events to go to

I like the winter games a lot more than the summer. That being said, hockey is really the only event I care about.
