A Houston TV station is reporting Oklahoma State and Mississippi State have reached a tentative agreement to play a football game next season at Reliant Stadium.
When contacted Tuesday, OSU athletic director Mike Holder would not comment on whether a verbal agreement between the two schools has been reached but said no written contract had been signed.
The game, reported by Fox in Houston, would likely be the first week of the season, when OSU and Mississippi State both have an opening.
The rest of the Cowboys’ nonconference schedule includes a visit to Texas-San Antonio in Week 2 and a home date against Lamar in Week 3.

Msu had the #1 SOS in 2009. Blame former AD larry templeton for years of tough non conf games. we've played a home and away w/ ok state in 97-98 splitting. We've played a home-away series with BYU, Oregon, Houston, West Virginia, and Georgia Tech over the past 9 years.

Ok St. just gave up 500+ yards and 59 points to Arizona and they have absolutely no defensive help coming in next year so far. I say congrats to the Grinders if this is true.

This reminds me of the Gator Bowl in 2010. We beat a relly shitty team that went 11-2 the next year. We were cited many times last year and I'm sure a lot of people were like "holy shite, State beat this Michigan team last year.".....I know, cool story huh?
