which means he didnt make the travel squad to Tennessee...

I don't know if Goode made it, but I do see this as a sign that we intend to throw and throw and throw some more...which could turn out well, but the last two weeks was solidly unstellar. or Or yeah...I'll just and pass out

Can't use Tennessee as a barometer for the passing game. It's Tennessee.

He's been dinged up. Fowler may be third string at this point.

And why are people so fascinated by this guy? If he's our future at RB, we're screwed... royally!

This. I think some were excited because he was a 4* RB from LA along Sentimore & Green. I think some fans feel like they need to have good careers at UAt to justify getting future out of LA which is retarded. Not every kid in LA wants to attend LSU. We will lose a few but it doesn't mean that if you recruit OOS kids that you have to find a way to play them. It's up to the individual himself to get playing time, not the fans or the coaches.

Same as case with Phelon, we recruited him but would have rarely seen the field at LSU. I am happy for him that he fits the scheme in Bama better but he's still no starter. I wish all former LA kids the best of luck when they go OOS but those schools don't owe them anything other than an education. Same goes with out athletes.

Lacy is legit, just in a crowded situation

No question about it. The fact is with 85 scholly players allowing 3 deep personal at each position means somebody has to get screwed. This year, it's Lacy. Although, I didn't like the way Davis handled his recruitment I am still happy to see him get significant playing time in his Sr year.

We have several high profile players including a 5* athlete from Ohio riding the pine because of our depth also. He will be good in the future but he's not guaranteed to play unless he's worthy of beating out those in front of him.

Ingram showed pro-style potential in his first year playing, as did Richardson.

What has Lacey showed us? He's undersized. He's not physical. He has ball security issues. Again, he has ball security issues. He's far from versatile. He can't break tackles. He can't break a significantly big run. He has ball security issues. He's not very fast. And did I mention he has ball security issues?

I have nothing against the dude, it's just I'm tired of people going overboard with their Lacey praise and homerism, when he's proved absolutely NOTHING.

Good god brad pitt, you continue to show your ignorance as far as football goes. Lacy is going to be a stud, whether your dumbass likes it or not. Undersized? Not physical? lol dumb frick.

I can already tell by such a delusional comment, alone, you were one of the millions who said "Shula was a great coach" and should be given "another year", weren't you?

WHAT has Lacey done to prove he is "going to be" a stud? He's not a fraction of what Ingram and Richardson were in their first playing seasons and he HASN'T DONE shite in the mop-up roles to prove otherwise. But I guess I'm an idiot because I don't have a crystal ball in front of me like you do?

6'1" 212 is undersized? Especially when Ingram is 5'10" 215

He's not physical.
He actually is physical, of course it is hard to see when he is not getting touches on the sidelines

He has ball security issues.
He may have that but many young running backs have the same issue

He can't break tackles

He can't break a significantly big run

Repeating self

He's not very fast
4.4 40 is not fast?

I have nothing against the dude,
That is a bold face lie, he must have stolen a GF

when he's proved absolutely NOTHING.

I guess not 30 carries 204 yards 6.8 YPC 3 Touchdowns, he needs more touches

Thank you tduecen, saved me some time. I was definitely not someone who wanted to keep shula around, and that is stupid comparison to what I'm debating. Eddie Lacy is a young RB That will prove himself in time, you are just a fricking hater. Lame.

so he's not coming and it has no issue with our guys because we don't think Tennessee will put up much of a front so that we don't need our 3rd string guy?

Hope so. Honestly it's not a big deal...we're probably taking more OL just in case A.McCullough doesn't perform, but I'm sure he will.

The bamers will be blowing him next season. Ball security? Any of the backs would have fumbled if they got hit there. Technique was his problem on the near goal line fumble, even Satan told you that. Now get in the fricking bull ring and get some football sense.
