He gave everything he had when on the field.. that was quite a secondary with Hilton, Golson, Elston etc. Hard hitters. I was torn between him or Serdarius Bryant. Bryant’s injury was super scary and I can’t remember if he returned or not from it but he didn’t seem the same after it.

Speaking of never being quite the same after he returned from injury, my fav ole miss player of the last decade was probably Tony Conner. He was never the same after that hit with Derick Henry tore up his knee. So much fun to watch before that hit though.

Freeze not shutting him down and fixing it immediately probably cost him a shot in the league. Hugh was a true moron.

Remember him hobbling around in the rain in Arkansas chasing Hunter Henry ?!? I remember thinking what the hell is he doing playing out there ?! Why did he not have surgery 2 months ago ?? But that Moore twin could not cover a TE or slot receiver to save his life. i.e. Florida game in the Swamp that season.

He was never going to be an NFL linebacker. He was 5'9" on a good day.

Ah, I see, and I agree too.
