Injuries, cold spells, poor defense, bad decisions.

Yea I agree if we get rid of Kermit I don’t know who you go get.

My only guess would be mike white but he’s been average at Florida.

Good facilities, money to make a real commitment, we'd get someone.

Let’s bring in a young guy and let him grow and build something hopefully

Nothing to lose. We’re in the cellar of the league .

Burn it all down. There is no coming back from what just happened.

Well no, not this year but there was no coming back this year even if we had won that game. We have officially been in nothing to lose territory for about a week now.

What you say is true. However, I've not been so turned off by Ole Miss basketball since Rod Barnes' last season in 2005.

Kermit now has a record of 63-56 overall, 29-38 in SEC play. That's not good enough. He's about to complete his 4th year of coaching at this university, and I think we can all agree that his results have been mediocre at best. He inherited a fun, well-loved program that always won plenty of basketball games, and has sent us back to 2005 in the span of four years. No one went to that game tonight, and we lost in humiliating fashion because our lame duck coach didn't have our guys ready to play. You couldn't even halfway fill the Tad Pad with the number of people at that game tonight.

Well mostly true. Not sure how “well loved” the program was or the outcry to keep Kennedy would have won out. We definitely don’t have the it factor even hobbled. And I’d say it’s all injury related that has us so down but we weren’t great before the injuries. Maybe we needed time to jell but who knows. What I do know is this next game at pitiful Georgia is anybody’s because you know they think they have a chance. We were picked to finish 9th in the SEC in the preseason and we just might be flirting with dead arse last when this thing is said and done. When was the last time that happened?

Some people were definitely turned off by AK's final season, but fan interest was still high because of the newly built Pavillion and the potential to build on Kennedy's successes with a new coach.

We finished last in the SEC during AK's final year with a record of 5-13. Before that, the last time we finished last in the SEC was Rod Barnes' last season in 2005, with a record of 4-12 in conference play. Auburn also went 4-12 that season, but swept the head-to-head matchups, giving them the edge over us in the conference standings.

I realize this is irrelevant to many, but why does it take Kermit 25 minutes to show for the postgame radio interview? His players are on well before that and yet no Kermit. After all, when you get blown out at home by a subpar team his ridicule of your own team is one of the highlights. Hurry the hell up.

He’s gotta figure which player to publicly throw under the bus .

Is anyone actually listening to his postgame remarks? The team sucks.

They’re very lucky today with the attendance the baseball game was cancelled at 11am so those people had to either leave town or go to the basketball game Only to watch us get down 2 TD’s to zero to kick the game off

They even let the baseball fans come in for free with the cancelled baseball tickets and attendance was still shite .

The fans don’t care anymore and I don’t see us having much enthusiasm for buying season tickets for next season with Kermit still here

This season needs to end in reality but frankly this seasons been over for a month or so already for most of us fans

It’s bad. May be largely due to injuries or it may not, but it’s bad.

Idk if I can buy the injured starter excuse at this point... the disparity on this team shouldn't be so bad that we lose to Mizzou 2x, SC, and most likely Vandy. At some point that has to come back to coaching

^^^ Agreed. Worse yet is the lack of competitiveness against Missouri and A&M at home and WKU. There may be others, but that’s enough.

Good. I’m okay with embarrassment on national TV until Kermit is gone.
